The landscape looks much rustier than the last several weeks. Much more brown.
Alas.
Tiny spots of yellow in the grass.
We've looked at the sky between these trees many times. They were bright with yellow and red, a few weeks ago.
A bit of red, at the top of a bradford pear.
Maple in the sunshine. I especially like the light on the tip top of the leaf.
Linden.
Maple.
I'm not sure what the long red ones are.....
Gingko.
Gingko and burning bush.
Tulip tree. Curled. With shadow.
Maples.
This is a shrub. I don't know what it is, but I'm glad for the color.
Me and Willard, on a shirt-sleeve kind of day. Note my book, whose shadow is near my shoulder. Naturally, no sooner do we get our mosey-with-book routine down pat, than the situation changes. As I write this, it's 40 degrees and windy outside. Way too cold for bare fingers on a book! Luckily he moves significantly faster in chilly weather than when it's hot.
