I talked about slush...........
Our sidewalk.
The end of our driveway, with slushy ice stripes on the street.
My better half happened to be home on the 21st.
We went to the tire store to get the air in the car's tires topped up. Then we went to the megamart, where it's possible to walk a mile (four loops around the inside edge of the store), and to stock up on bulky staples like Cheerios. Just in case you were wondering, there are WAY more people in the grocery part of the store than in the TVs-and-electronics part. But walking fast, even while pushing a shopping cart, is not difficult, even in the more-crowded areas, nearly all of the time.
It's amazing how much easier it is to walk on dry linoleum than on snowy sidewalks! So nice to relax and WALK rather than incessantly scrutinizing the next spot you will step on, so you can make a determination as to how treacherous it will be!
They had a lot of orchids for sale on the 21st.
How I need this color, when it's monochromatic outside!
