My sister-in-law gets up with the birds. My body clock was on Eastern time, rather than Central, so it wasn't a stretch for me to get up early enough that she and I could walk together. (And it was WAY too hot to walk during the afternoon, as I would do at home.)
Excellent sky....
I don't know why this is blurry. Sigh, and argh....
I thought the ivy looked interesting on the tree. (Poor tree; this can't be good for it.......)
The retirement community where my parents live is incredible. It's large, which conveys all the benefits of largeness -- more variety, more diversity, more going on.... They have lectures and clubs and excursions. They even have a "sky-diving team" -- a bunch of them have gone sky diving on more than one occasion! (Sign me up............!!!)
For a more grounded occupation, they also have raised beds in a community plot that allow people to garden. Most people have vegetables. And flowers. (Many residents are Master Gardeners....)
Someone has a miniature farm in their garden. Note herbs in background at the perfect size for the farm's trees..........
I hang up my laundry. I'm always interested when someone else hangs hers.....
Love the sweet alyssum as a shrub. I never noticed it until I got it on "the big screen."
In the afternoon, Dad and I went shopping for a new monitor, and for a centerpiece for the dinner table.
In the evening, we went to a fancy hotel to celebrate 65 years of marriage. My brother and sister-in-law, both of their kids, and one kid's special someone were there, as well as Mom and Dad and I. We had a very enjoyable evening. Congenial company, nice things to eat, and something very important to celebrate.
Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad. Many more!
