election day

.

I would rather be the man who bought the Brooklyn Bridge than the one who sold it. -Will Rogers, humorist (1879-1935)

Thank goodness for everyone in politics who works for the good of the people, rather than for his/her own good, or for the good of those who already have far too much money and power.

I encourage every registered voter in the USA to vote today, and vote carefully................

I hope you'll vote for those who are careful of the environment, careful for those who need the most help (the opposite end of the spectrum from the billionaires!), careful for good schools and good roads, careful of good jobs and good health care and the hope of a decent life for all (rather than an even richer life for those who are already floating in money!).

Old Glory, a bit wrapped up.  Here's hoping today's voters will help it wave free, for ALL of us (not just the 1%), as it is intended to do!
