Studio Friday -- collections

I am very slow responding to this Studio Friday theme. I have the excuse of being out of town from Thursday to Monday night.....

I have a lot of collections. None of them are valuable objects, but they appeal to me.

Fisher Price people

lots of little dolls

plastic zoo animals

part of my vast and varied collection of stegosauruses

My very favorite collection at the moment is my digital photographs. Among the many things I love about them is that they take up essentially no space...... And they don't get dusty, either. Well, not literally, at least.....

I love rhinos, too (and hippos and elephants)! I have some of all of them, but not as many as I have stegos. I love your friend's strategy for identifying men she could live without. :-)

If I'm ever in Santa Barbara, I'd definitely like to meet for tea. :-)

Cool! That white one looks nice, like a stuffed pencil drawing. I like the wee tiny orange one!

Thanks! The big white one was purchased as yardage (sold at the Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC). I made it from the kit about 30 years ago, I think. They also had pterodactyls (my sister made one of those). I thought at the time it would look cool from a lot of different fabrics....

Your collections really show your joy of things - I adore how you've displayed the fisher price people and the penguins! Thanks for sharing!
